This class is for teachers and moms who want to understand the concrete principles of reading and spelling in order to teach their preschoolers to read or to help an older student read and spell more proficiently.
 
Spell to Write and Read will be referenced as you, the teacher, will learn the 70 Orton-Gillingham phonograms and 29 spelling rules. True phonics methods prove that the English language has a beautiful science and order to it. 
 
Family literature habits will also be discussed. 
Moms of young children are welcome, along with teachers for all ages.
 
Class will be held 7-9 p.m. in Cornelius (20314 Queensdale Drive)
