David Thetford is a rising senior at Patrick Henry College majoring in Strategic Intelligence in National Security, currently interning at Wells Fargo.
He has participated in competitive public speaking and debate for over six years, is an AP Scholar with Distinction, received a Presidential Scholarship for high standardized test scores, and has maintained a 4.0 cumulative GPA at PHC.
He has participated in several faculty-sponsored research projects and was the official Project Manager for 20 analysts at Border Security Alert, a data-driven research project which produces a weekly report sent to 275+ subscribers in government agencies and private companies.
David has a strong work-ethic and loves to think through tough problems and help others to think strategically. He used many of the methods and tips he teaches in his prep classes to improve his ACT score by just a few points, which then qualified him for an automatic $38,000 more in academic college scholarships along with his other scholarships.​
